Two delete keys. Backspace deletes the character to the left of the cursor. The physical Delete key (or Fn+Delete on a laptop keyboard without a dedicated forward-delete key) deletes the character to the right, the opposite of what the key labels suggest at first glance.
Window cycling. Cmd+ cycles forward through open Outlook windows, and Cmd+Shift+ cycles backward, the same convention macOS uses system-wide for switching between windows of the front app.
Zoom keys. Cmd+Minus and Cmd+Equal shrink and grow the text size in an open message or the reading pane, the unshifted keys next to each other on the keyboard rather than a Shift-modified pair.
Follow-up flags. Control+1 through Control+6 apply a due date to a flagged item (Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, No Due Date, or a custom date), and Control+0 marks the item complete.
The Outlook Mac shortcut list is available as a printable PDF. The compose, reply, and view-switching shortcuts are the ones worth keeping nearby for daily email work.
Backspace removes the character to the left of the cursor. Delete (or Fn+Delete on a keyboard without a dedicated forward-delete key) removes the character to the right. Both are separate from the message-level Delete shortcut that removes a selected email.
Shift+Cmd+R replies to everyone on the message. Cmd+R alone replies only to the original sender (or the mailing list, if the message came from one).
Yes. Cmd+ cycles forward through open Outlook windows and Cmd+Shift+ cycles backward, matching the system-wide macOS shortcut for switching between windows of the active app.
