Intro

Google Slides on Windows runs in the browser. There is no separate native Windows app. The shortcut set uses Ctrl as its primary modifier. Ctrl+/ opens the built-in shortcut reference panel within Slides, the same quick-access mechanism used across all Google Workspace apps.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

Built-in shortcut list. Ctrl+/ opens Google Slides' keyboard shortcut panel from inside the presentation. Searchable and organized by category.

Ctrl as primary modifier. All Slides shortcuts on Windows use Ctrl. Formatting (Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I, Ctrl+U), undo (Ctrl+Z), and object manipulation all follow this pattern.

Menu bar access. Pressing Alt in Google Slides on Windows activates the document menu navigation (File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Slide, Arrange, Tools, Help), giving keyboard access to any Slides feature.

Presentation delivery. Starting and ending the presentation, advancing and going back through slides, black screen control, and jumping to a specific slide by number are all keyboard-accessible from Windows. Delivery shortcuts in Slides follow patterns familiar from PowerPoint. The exact shortcuts are in the table.

Object arrangement. Selecting, grouping, aligning, and layering objects on a slide use Ctrl-based shortcuts on Windows.
