Intro

Google Slides on iPhone has a dedicated mobile app that supports keyboard shortcuts when an external keyboard is connected. The shortcut set is smaller than on desktop, covering slide navigation, basic text formatting, and presentation controls. The Command modifier applies following iOS keyboard conventions.

iPhone-specific shortcut notes

External keyboard required. Keyboard shortcuts activate with a physical keyboard connected via Bluetooth.

Command modifier. Google Slides on iPhone uses Command when a keyboard is connected, matching iOS conventions.

Slide navigation and formatting. Moving between slides, applying basic text formatting, and navigating the presentation in edit mode are covered with an external keyboard.

Presentation delivery. Basic delivery controls, advancing slides and ending the show, are available with an external keyboard connected on iPhone.

Discovering shortcuts. Holding Command on a connected keyboard in the Slides iOS app shows available shortcuts for the current context.
