Intro

FL Studio on Windows uses Ctrl and Alt as its modifiers. Single-key tool shortcuts in the Playlist and Piano roll (P, C, D, E, and others) work with no modifier at all, as long as "Typing keyboard to piano" (Ctrl+T) is off.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

Direct key access. Windows keyboards have dedicated Delete and Insert keys, so shortcuts like Ctrl+Delete (delete space according to timeline selection) and Ctrl+Insert (add space according to timeline selection) work without any extra key combination.

F-key shortcuts. F5 through F12 toggle FL Studio's main windows directly: F5 for the Playlist, F7 for the Piano roll, F9 for the Mixer, F12 to close everything.

Numpad shortcuts. With a full-size Windows keyboard, the numpad's 0, *, and / keys control fast forward and bar navigation in Song mode, separate from the number row.

Printable PDF

The FL Studio Windows shortcut list is available as a printable PDF. The tool-switching and Channel Rack mute/solo shortcuts are the ones worth keeping nearby while producing.
