Intro

Pages for the web runs in the browser at iCloud.com. On Mac, it uses Command (⌘) as its modifier. This page and the [Web on Windows page →] cover the same web application with different modifier keys.

Web on Mac shortcut notes

Command modifier throughout. Text formatting, navigation, and editing shortcuts all use Command in the browser.

Core text editing. Standard text formatting (Cmd+B, Cmd+I, Cmd+U), find, undo, and basic navigation are fully supported in the web version.

Paragraph styles in the web version. The ability to apply named paragraph styles by keyboard may be more limited in the web version than in the native Mac app. The table above covers what is confirmed for the web app.

Tracked changes in the web version. Basic tracked changes support is available, viewing and accepting or rejecting changes, but the complete tracked changes shortcut set may be more limited than in the native app.

Browser shortcut conflicts. Cmd+W closes the browser tab; Cmd+T opens a new one.
