Ctrl as primary modifier. Cell navigation, formula entry, and formatting shortcuts all use Ctrl, consistent with Excel on Windows and Google Sheets on Windows.
Core spreadsheet editing. Cell navigation, formula entry and confirmation, basic number formatting, and standard text formatting are covered.
Canvas limitations. The Numbers canvas model, where multiple tables and other objects sit on a shared sheet canvas, has more limited keyboard coverage in the web version. The core cell editing workflow is well-supported; canvas-level navigation is more limited.
Browser shortcut conflicts. Ctrl+W closes the browser tab; Ctrl+T opens a new one.
Working with .numbers files on Windows. Files created in Numbers on Mac are accessible at iCloud.com on Windows. Exports (PDF, Excel format) are available from the File menu for cases where a Windows-native format is needed.
