Mute and unmute. Cmd+Shift+A toggles your microphone on and off. This is the shortcut to memorize first, everything else builds from it.
Push to talk. While muted, hold the Space bar to temporarily unmute. Speak, then release Space to mute again. This is available in Zoom on Mac and is often faster than pressing Cmd+Shift+A twice for a brief contribution.
Video on/off. Cmd+Shift+V starts and stops the camera. The pattern matches mute, Cmd+Shift with a different letter.
Screen sharing. Cmd+Shift+S starts and stops screen sharing. Cmd+Shift+T pauses and resumes an active screen share without ending it, useful when you need to pause briefly without the audience seeing your screen.
Participants and chat. Cmd+Shift+H toggles the chat window. Cmd+Shift+U opens the participants panel. The full participant and reaction shortcuts are in the table above.
Raise hand. Cmd+Shift+Y raises or lowers your hand in a meeting, the keyboard equivalent of the Reactions panel button.
Full screen. Cmd+Shift+F enters and exits full-screen mode.
