Intro

Trello on Mac relies on single-letter shortcuts triggered while hovering over or viewing a card, plus arrow-key and j/k navigation. Cmd is the only modifier used for copy, cut, and paste.

Mac-specific shortcut notes

Single-letter card actions. Most shortcuts are one key, no modifier: c archives, d opens the due date picker, l opens labels, m opens members, n inserts a card, s toggles watch, t edits the title. They fire while you're hovering over a card on the board or viewing its details, not from a text field.

Copy, cut, paste. Cmd+C copies a card and Cmd+X cuts it; Cmd+V pastes into whichever list your pointer is over, even on a different board. The same Cmd+V also creates a new card from a copied link or text, or attaches a link to the card you're viewing, depending on context.

Navigation. Arrow keys move you between cards on the board, and j/k double as down/up. With a card open, the left arrow or k opens the card above, the right arrow or j opens the one below.

The Trello macOS shortcut list is available as a printable PDF. The single-letter card actions and the copy/cut/paste combo are the most useful for daily board work.
