Intro

Most people use Miro in the browser. The web app on Mac uses Command as its modifier, the same as the Mac desktop app, and the single-key tool shortcuts (S, R, T, C, F) work identically in the browser.

This page and the [Web on Windows page →] cover the same Miro web application with different modifier keys.

Web on Mac shortcut notes

Same shortcut set as the desktop app. Single-key tools, canvas navigation, frame management, grouping, and selection all work the same in the browser as in the desktop app. The shortcut coverage is essentially equivalent.

Command modifier. All modifier-based shortcuts use Command in the Mac browser, matching the Mac desktop app throughout.

Browser shortcut conflicts. A small number of Command combinations are captured by the browser before reaching Miro. Cmd+W closes the tab; Cmd+T opens a new one. The table above notes cases where this applies.
