Intro

Miro on Mac uses Command (⌘) for modifier-based shortcuts and bare letter keys for tool shortcuts. The desktop app and the web app in a Mac browser use the same Command-based modifier shortcuts, the practical difference is whether you're running the Electron app or using the browser.

Mac-specific shortcut notes

Single-key tool activation. No modifier needed for tool selection: S (sticky note), R (shape), T (text), C (connector), F (frame), V (select). These are the shortcuts you'll use most during any session, they're faster than clicking the toolbar.

Canvas navigation. Cmd+1 fits the entire board to the current view. Cmd++ / Cmd+- zoom in and out. Hold Space and drag to pan the canvas without activating a tool.

Frame navigation. Frames are Miro's organizational sections. Moving between frames by keyboard, particularly in presentation mode, uses arrow-based shortcuts covered in the table.

Grouping and arrangement. Cmd+G groups selected elements; Cmd+Shift+G ungroups. Cmd+[ and Cmd+] send objects backward and forward in the stacking order.

Selection. Cmd+A selects all elements on the board (or within a frame, depending on context). Tab moves selection to the next element.
