Intro

On Android, Google Calendar supports keyboard shortcuts when a hardware or Bluetooth keyboard is connected. Unlike the web app, it uses Ctrl based combinations for views, navigation, and events, and adds Alt with the arrow keys for scrolling the timeline.

Android-specific shortcut notes

A keyboard is required. Shortcuts work only with a hardware or Bluetooth keyboard attached to the device.

Views use Ctrl and a number. Ctrl+1 for schedule, Ctrl+2 for day, Ctrl+3 for week, Ctrl+4 for month, and Ctrl+0 for the 3-day view.

Moving around. Ctrl+J and Ctrl+K move to the next and previous date range, Ctrl+T jumps to today, Ctrl+G goes to a date, and Alt with the arrow keys scrolls the timeline and moves between time frames.

Events. Ctrl+N creates an event, Ctrl+E edits one, Ctrl+S saves from the details page, and Backspace or Delete removes an event.

Side panel. Ctrl+Shift+T toggles the side panel. The full set is in the table above.
