You can use markdown syntax to quickly format text in the Confluence Cloud editor.
Confluence on Windows uses Ctrl for most shortcuts, but a handful (toggling the sidebar, panels, and comments) stick with Ctrl even where you'd expect a different key, to stay clear of browser shortcuts.
Panel and comment toggles. Ctrl+BracketLeft and Ctrl+BracketRight cover the sidebar and the comments panel, keys that browsers often reserve for back/forward navigation, which is why Confluence uses them consistently instead of Alt or Win combinations.
The Windows key. Create page (Win+Alt+C) and View attachments (Win+Alt+T) are two of the few Confluence shortcuts that use the Windows key directly.
Markdown while typing. Start a line with "# " through "###### " for headings, "* " for a bullet, or "1. " for a numbered list. These work the same regardless of platform, since they're typed characters, not key combinations.

Press Ctrl+Alt+C to open the comment box on the current page or live doc. Ctrl+Shift+U jumps to your next unread comment if you want to work through a thread.
Ctrl+BracketLeft is used deliberately. Alt-based combinations are more likely to trigger a browser or Windows menu instead of reaching Confluence, so Confluence keeps a few navigation shortcuts on Ctrl even when Alt would seem more natural.
Yes. Win+Alt+C opens the create-page dialog from anywhere in Confluence. Ctrl+Shift+D creates a live doc directly instead.
