Intro

Audition on Windows uses Ctrl and Alt as its main modifiers. Playback, zoom, and marker shortcuts work the same way as on Mac, just with Ctrl standing in for Command and Alt for Option.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

Transport and zoom. Spacebar starts and stops playback, Home and End jump to the start or end of the timeline. Equal and Minus zoom horizontally; add Alt to zoom vertically instead.

Markers. M (or the asterisk key Adobe lists alongside it) drops a marker at the current-time indicator. Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right Arrow jumps between markers already placed.

Waveform Editor only. Shift+R reruns the last command's dialog box with the same settings applied; Ctrl+R reopens the dialog box without applying it. Up and Down Arrow switch which channel of a stereo file is active for editing.

Multitrack mixing. Shift-drag adjusts a mixer knob in large steps, Ctrl-drag in small steps. Alt+comma and Alt+period nudge the selected clip left and right; Alt+up/down arrow nudges it vertically.
