Intro

Viewing a Power BI report in a browser has its own accessibility-focused shortcut set, separate from Power BI Desktop's authoring shortcuts, built around Tab, Enter, Esc, and a handful of Ctrl/Alt combinations.

Web-specific shortcut notes

No Mac-specific keys documented. Microsoft's own accessibility guide for the Power BI service doesn't list separate Mac bindings; every shortcut here uses the same Ctrl/Alt combinations regardless of the browser's host OS.

Visuals use a 3-level hierarchy. Ctrl+Right enters a visual, Tab cycles between its main areas (data plot, axis, legend), and Enter drills into whichever area has focus. Esc backs out one level at a time.

"Show visuals as tables" is a preview feature. Ctrl+Shift+F11 switches every visual on the current report page to a table or matrix view; it doesn't apply to dashboards, slicers, cards, or a handful of other visual types.

A printable PDF of Power BI web shortcuts is available. Switching focus between report tabs (Ctrl+F6) and entering a visual (Ctrl+Right) are the ones worth learning first.
