Intro

Figma on Windows uses Ctrl for modifier-based shortcuts. The single-key tool activation (V, F, R, O, T, P, etc.) works the same as on Mac, no modifier needed. Ctrl+/ opens the command palette.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

Single-key tools. V, F, R, O, T, P, L, K, same bare-key activation as on Mac. Press the key to switch tools instantly.

Command palette. Ctrl+/ opens the command palette, search any Figma action by name.

Layer management. Ctrl+G groups; Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups. Ctrl+Alt+G wraps the selection in a frame. Ctrl+[ / Ctrl+] for stacking order. Ctrl+Shift+[ / Ctrl+Shift+] for back/front.

Duplicate and edit. Ctrl+D duplicates. Alt+drag creates a copy while moving. Ctrl+Enter enters component edit mode.

Canvas navigation. Ctrl+1 fits to view; Ctrl+0 for 100% zoom; Ctrl++ / Ctrl+- to zoom; Space+drag to pan.
