Intro

Canva on Mac uses Command (⌘) as its primary modifier in both the desktop app and the browser. The shortcut set covers element manipulation, text formatting, page navigation, and canvas view controls.

Mac-specific shortcut notes

Element operations. Cmd+D duplicates the selected element. Cmd+G groups selected elements; Cmd+Shift+G ungroups. Cmd+[ and Cmd+] move elements backward and forward in the stacking order.

Text formatting. Cmd+B, Cmd+I, Cmd+U for bold, italic, and underline. Text alignment shortcuts apply within selected text boxes.

Page navigation. Arrow key shortcuts move between pages in a multi-page design, faster than clicking the page thumbnails.

Canvas navigation. Cmd++ / Cmd+- zoom in and out. Cmd+Shift+H fits the design to the window. Space+drag pans the canvas.

Undo/redo. Cmd+Z undoes; Cmd+Shift+Z redoes.
