Does Blackmagic Fusion use Ctrl or Cmd on Windows?

Fusion uses Ctrl on Windows for the same shortcuts that use Cmd on Mac. Alt on Windows corresponds to Option on Mac. The physical keys and layout are otherwise identical across platforms.

Is Blackmagic Fusion the same on Windows and Linux?

Yes. Fusion Studio's shortcut set is identical on Windows and Linux, both use Ctrl and Alt as the primary modifiers.

What does Ctrl+F do in Fusion?

Ctrl+F is context-sensitive on Windows. It fits the image to the viewer in a Viewer, opens the Find dialog in the Node Editor, and scales the graph to fit in the Spline Editor, depending on which panel was last active.

Intro

Fusion on Windows uses Ctrl and Alt as its primary modifiers, identical to the Linux version. The Mac version uses the same shortcuts with Cmd and Option instead.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

Ctrl is the primary modifier. Node selection (Ctrl-click), copy/paste (Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V), and most Node Editor and Spline Editor shortcuts use Ctrl on Windows.

Alt covers the secondary actions. Setting a clone source in Paint, constraining a keyframe drag to one axis, and connecting a node to a specific input all use Alt on Windows.

Delete key naming. Fusion's manual writes some shortcuts as Backspace on Windows where the Mac version uses Delete. Both keys clear the current selection; Windows keyboards ship both keys, so use Backspace to match what the shortcut list documents.
