Intro

On Windows, the Pixel studio uses Ctrl as its primary modifier. Single-key tools are identical to Mac, and only the modifier for command operations changes. The Pixel studio is one of three studios (Pixel, Vector, Layout) inside the single free Affinity app.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

One app, three studios. Switch to the Pixel studio inside Affinity for image editing. There is no separate Photo app to install.

Single-key tools. Same bare-key activation as Mac: move, selection, brush, eraser, crop, text, and other tools activate on a single keypress.

Layer operations. Ctrl+J duplicates, Ctrl+E merges down, Ctrl+G groups, and Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups.

Transform. Ctrl+T for free transform, the same concept as Photoshop on Windows.

Selections. Ctrl+D deselects, Ctrl+Shift+I inverts, and Ctrl+A selects all.
