Intro

On Windows, the Layout studio uses Ctrl as its primary modifier. The shortcut set matches Mac with the modifier swapped: Ctrl+D for Place, page navigation, style application, and switching studios all follow the same pattern. The Layout studio is one of three studios inside the single free Affinity app.

Windows-specific shortcut notes

One app, three studios. Switch to the Layout studio inside Affinity for page layout. There is no separate Publisher app to install.

Place. Ctrl+D opens the Place dialog, the same shortcut as InDesign on Windows.

Page navigation. Page Up and Page Down move between spreads. First and last page navigation shortcuts are in the table above.

Master pages. Switching to master page editing and back to the document layout.

Paragraph styles. Keyboard application of named paragraph styles.

Editing pixel or vector content in place. Switch to the Pixel or Vector studio to edit embedded content without leaving the document, replacing the old Studio Link step.

Object management. Ctrl+G groups and Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups. Stacking order via Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+], with frame fitting shortcuts in the table above.
